Shushil qualified from the Royal London in 2000. After which he completed a 2-year programme and membership to the Faculty of General Dental Practice at the Royal College of Surgeons.
He then continued his education for a further 2 years to be accredited with a Diploma in Implant Dentistry at the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons of England. This qualification has been regarded as the gold standard for implant dentistry. Shushil is also a member of the Association of Dental Implantologists and regularly trains and attends courses around the world.
He has completed his MSc at the University of Leeds, with his thesis paper on the Dental Implant treatment options in the upper jaw when there is insufficient bone available. His practice is limited to Dental Implant from simple single-tooth dental implants to complex procedures such as bone grafting, sinus grafting, all-on-four treatments and full-mouth dental implants.
Shushil lectures for Osstem UK and teaches Sinus Grafting procedures to dentists around the UK and internationally.
In his spare time, Shushil enjoys going to the gym, spending time with his adorable two girls and travelling. He loves IT and will always be seen with the latest gadget out there!

After qualifying as a dentist in 2008, Viraj spent the initial years honing his skills in general practice. He was then awarded a Membership of the faculty of general dental practitioners by the Royal College of Surgeons.
Viraj developed a keen interest in Oral Surgery and Restorative Dentistry. This led him to pursue a three-year advanced training course in Implant Dentistry at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute (University College London). He was awarded a Post Graduate Diploma with a First Class and Distinction in two modules. This qualification is regarded as the gold standard for Implant Dentistry.
He has treated patients with implants since 2011 and helped patients to regain their confidence and ability to eat and smile better with fixed teeth and implant-retained dentures.
His calm and relaxed manner helps put even the most nervous patients at ease.
Viraj is proficient at highly specialised procedures such as bone grafting and augmentation.
Employing the latest digital scanning and imaging techniques, He is able to provide beautiful and long-lasting smiles to his patients.

Dr Jignesh Patel graduated from King’s College London in 2002 and has since distinguished himself through continuous professional development, both in the UK and internationally. In 2012, he achieved his Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the esteemed Royal College of Surgeons in England.
While Dr Patel is limited to Implant Dentistry, boasting a particular focus on full jaw rehabilitation, including bone grafts and sinus lifts, his expertise extends across all facets of dentistry. Alongside his dedicated team, he provides patients with a comprehensive and holistic approach to dental care, utilising state-of-the-art 3D Imaging and Planning for intricate procedures.
Dr Patel is recognised for his friendly and caring demeanour, prioritising patient comfort and calmness. His commitment to a pain-free approach to dentistry instils overwhelming confidence in his abilities among his patients.
Outside of his professional endeavours, Jignesh is a devoted family man who finds joy in spending quality time with and nurturing his young family. In his spare time, he also indulges his love for travel.
Dani joined the Kent Smile Studio team in August 2021 as a full-time receptionist and call centre handler.
Dani enjoys making patients feel at ease and welcoming them to the practice.
She recently got married in September 2021, and in her spare time, she enjoys going out with her friends and spending time with her dog.
Sam joined Kent Smile Studio in 2009 as a trainee dental nurse and qualified in 2012. She now only nurses for Dental Implants and has a number of roles within the Practice, with the main one being leading the team at the Maidstone branch. ‘I love my job & the interaction I have with our patients’.
Sammy has a special skill with nervous patients and is a true asset to the practice.
In her spare time, Sam loves being an auntie and spending quality time with her family and friends.
Sam joined Kent Smile Studio in October 2012 as a trainee dental nurse. She qualified in 2014, gaining an NVQ level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing. Since joining the KSS family, she is now a Dental Implant Nurse and Treatment Co-ordinator, which involves the daily running of the Walderslade branch! ‘I love the interaction with patients and get to meet new people on a daily basis.
The most rewarding part of my job is being there for our patients from start to finish, throughout their journey and seeing what a difference we have made to their lives.
Beth joined Kent Smile Studio in October 2018.
She enjoys the lively and friendly atmosphere working within the Kent Smile Studio team. In her spare time, she enjoys music festivals and dog walking.
